En general eres candidato si tu IMC es ≥ 35 (grado II o III), o entre 30 y 34.9 (grado I) con comorbilidades como diabetes tipo 2, hipertensión o sleep apnea, y si los tratamientos convencionales no han dado resultados sostenidos. La candidatura definitiva la determina el Dr. Andrés Velásquez.
